Oh yeah, this feels right. This feels good. Good to be back? Did ya miss me? Cause I gotta tell ya, I missed you! I missed making these videos. I missed spending this time, with you.

I took a full year off from making these videos to allow for time to work on a few other projects. I will not spend the time here to go over them all but I would ask you to head over to the official website at www.soldierforchrist.net to check out everything that has been going on, and don’t forget to subscribe so you are always in the loop on what's happening. If you have not been there in a while you may be surprised.

But, now here we are in 2019 and a new batch of videos is coming your way. Every Monday this year you can expect a new video to be posted. And each of those will continue to be posted 7 AM Central. The intent here is this gives you an inspiring way to start your week.

Welcome to Soldier for Christ

As we kick off this new year I want us to remember one thing. I want us to know this fully. We are one. The climate of the nation today is volatile to say the least. I don’t want to get all political or delve into race relations. Those issue while unfortunate still exist. They shouldn’t. We should remember that

...in Christ we, though many, form one body, and each member belongs to all the others. -Romans 12:5

What do this meant? We who claim to be Christians, followers of Christ, when we accepted the gift of his sacrifice became of Christ. This is how the verse starts.

..in Christ we though may,…

As in there are a lot of people that claim to be Christians. All of us together form one body, that is the body of Christ on earth, or the Church.

each member belongs to all the others

This is to say that we are all accountable to each other. The church can not work if each of us try to do it on our own.

Just as a body (our earthly physical body) though one, has many parts, but all its many parts

form one body, so it is with Christ. -1 Corinthians 12:12

Is this starting to make since? We are all children of God and make up the body of Christ on earth. We are to mirror His grace and love. We can not do that if we are holding onto bigotry and ignorance.

But in fact God has placed the parts in the body, every one of them, just as He wanted them to be. If they were all one part, where would the body be? As it is, there are many parts, but one body. -1 Corinthians 12: 18-20

We have been placed right where He wants us. We are all different. That is not something to be hated, but something to be embraced. If we were all the same, what a boring world we would live in. Being different does not mean we can not live in peace. We must accept that God has made us each the way he wants us. If we are truly Christians, we will love our Sisters and Brothers no matter what. No matter what race or religion. Love is blind. Grace is free. We are to mirror the grace Jesus has shown us to everyone. Because like it or not, weather they know it or not, everyone is a child of God.
