Do You Praise HIm?

Who, or what do you give praise to?

Who, or what, do you boast about the most?

Is it your children? Your fancy car, high paying job, something, or someone else?

We use the word love a little too loosely in today's society. We Love our spouse. We Love our kids. We love that tv show and love that actor or actress. We love that hamburger. Love sushi and sports and just about anything else. Does the love stay the same? If we use that word so often does it lose some value? And just where should you really be focusing your love and praise?

Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done. -Psalm 105:1

If we can give our love, our praise to all of the other things then it should be no more difficult to give our praise to our Lord. And just saying it is not nor should it be enough. We need to make known…what he has done for us. We should be out telling others of His great works. Letting them know about Jesus and the sacrifice He made for us.

It is one thing to say you love and to give praise to our Lord. But let your actions guide the way and show who you are.

“A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.” -John 13:34-35

When you live a life like this people can see by your actions who you are and who you give your praise to. They will be able to know that your words have weight whey your actions back them up.
