Hero By Faith 6 of 10

We are on the back end of the series Hero By Faith from Regardless Productions. Today we review episode six, The Bottom. This is your spoiler warning. Click over and watch it if you have not already and then come on back and lets break it down. Welcome to Soldier for Christ.

I think it's safe to assume that most of us, at some point in our lives have hit a low point in our lives. In today's episode we see that our hero has pretty much hit rock bottom. We find him alone, in a bar. When his wife finds him he is have a good ol' fashioned pity party. He has completely lost sight of how the incident has impacted those around him. She reminds him in a not so gentle way and this snaps him back to reality.

* Blessed is the man who remains steadfast under trial, for when he has stood the test he will receive the crown of life, which God has promised to those who love Him. -James 1:12

By the time we reach the end of this episode he seems like he is coming around. He has finally accepted the bible and hopefully, he will begin to read it.

Just like Derrick, we too must remember that no matter what we are going through, it can almost always be worse. We must remain steadfast and look to our Lord to see us through. Knowing that when we do, we will receive that which he has promised. Eternal life with Him.
