DID YOU SEE HIS HANDS? They were on fire! And the blood from the eyes! Wow. They were certainly under his spell.

And Devlin I would say got more than he asked for.

Boy doesn't that sound familiar? People often wonder why God doesn't just give them any and everything they want. The answer is simple enough. We don’t deserve it.

How many of you would give your young child ice cream for breakfast lunch and dinner. Every day. Why not? They asked for it? No. Because we know it's not healthy for them. We limit their access to TV shows and music and internet and any number of other things because we want the best for our children and we want them to be healthy and happy. Now not giving them ice cream for breakfast may make them un happy, for now. Later on whey they know better they will hopefully thank you.

It's the same with our Father in heaven. He knows what we need, what is best for us. And he does want what's best for us. We will thank him one day, when we know better.
