Acknowledgement

If you have been on the internet for more than five minutes then you have no doubt seen at least one if not more viral videos. To go along with those there are also often video challenges. Some of them can be for a good cause such as the ice bucket challenge which raised money for research into ALS. Some of them however, are not so good.

A while back there was this trend going around on YouTube where people, mostly it seemed kids would look dead into the camera and publicly renounce the Holy Spirit. There are several things that are disturbing about this, one of which being…

And to make matters worse Jesus said that...

whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will never be forgiven; they are guilty of an eternal sin.” -Mark 3:29

So when then do this? Is this just kids being kids? Do they not really know what they are saying? Is this just because they do not believe in God? How do we turn this around? I think we may have an answer to that one...

“I tell you, whoever publicly acknowledges me before others, the Son of Man will also acknowledge before the angels of God. -Luke 12:8

Publicly acknowledge Christ. Tell and show the world who's you are. And lets do that may starting our own viral video. Let's flip the script on all those that would publicly blaspheme against the Holy Spirit. Starting with this video, reply to it and let the would know that you are a believer and follower of Christ Jesus. I realize that we do this when we are baptized. And that is a good thing. But with the viral video the world can know that you acknowledge him and when you do...
