Literally Nothing

Have you ever misplaced your glasses? Keys? The remote control? What if I told you there was something that you have, right now, that you could never lose?

Welcome to Soldier for Christ.

We have all been there. You are in a rush to get to your next appointment and as you go to grab your keys you realize they are not where you thought you left them. You freeze! Panic sets in and the frantic search begins. You are tossing things right and left and searching high and low for your keys. Where could they be! You finish ransacking the last room in the house and in an exasperated fit slap you hands down on your legs only to feel the pain of the metal in your pocket dig into your leg. Your keys have been there all along.

So what if now I told you that there is something you already have, a gift that you have been given, that you can never lose. There is no where you can set it down that you will forget it. It is always there.

Nothing in all of creation. That literally means everything. So that then literally means nothing can make God stop loving you. There is nothing so bad that he would reject you if you came to him.

Jesus came here to offer himself up as the perfect sacrifice so that our sins could be forgiven. All we have to do is accept that gift, turn from sin and let him embrace us. There is again, literally nothing in all of creation that can stop him, our Father from loving us, his children.

neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. -Romans 8:39

Let that sink in and then...

Press on. Fight the good fight. As a Soldier for Christ.
