Don't Let Go

So did you ever have one of those... Just... ya know a day where nothing seems to really go right? Ya get woken up before the alarm. Spill your coffee, get stuck in traffic. That one guy at the office. AHHH. It’s that kind of stuff you should let go of. Stop trying to do it all yourself.

But, in Church, there are some things we should not let go of. Some people would change and alter the teaching of Jesus and the prophets to suit their own goals and wants. They let go of the traditions and teachings of the past.

* 8 You have let go of the commands of God and are holding on to human traditions.” - Mark 7:8

Some human traditions are fine, but when it comes to the word of God it is not for us to change. God said, what God said and just because we may not like it, doesn't make it any less true.

• My son, do not despise the Lords discipline, and do not resent his rebuke. Because the Lord disciplines those he loves, as a father the son he delights in. -Proverbs 3:11-12

Don’t let go of God's word. Read and study the word. Be involved in a good Bible based church and hang on to what is right and good and then…
