Cast all your cares on me.

When you say: "I am always worried and frustrated." God says: "Cast all your cares on me." I am always worried and frustrated. I am always worried and frustrated. I have been that way for years. I know God is calling me to be more like Jesus, but it feels like an impossible task. It seems like every time I start to get better, something happens to set me back again. When will this end? Here's what I'm getting at: we often forget that God cares for us and wants what is best, even when we don't. When life gets tough, it's easy to worry about all the things that could go wrong. The Bible says that God knows what’s going on in our lives (Psalm 139:1–4), so why are we so worried? The answer is simple: because of sin! Sin causes us to look at the bad things instead of looking at Jesus with faith and hope (Hebrews 12:25). But what do we do when we're worried? We can't run from our problems—we need them solved! That's why Peter tells us not only how much God loves us but also how he deals with our worries through prayer and patience during trials. Worrying about something isn't faith; it's fear. Faith is "the substance of things hoped for" (Hebrews 11:1). This verse is about a man who lives in a cave and has nothing to eat. God's question to him is "Where are you?" The man tells Him, "I'm here in the desert." So God says, "What do you have with you?" The guy replies, "I have nothing, except some bread that I have hidden." (He was afraid someone would see it.) But then he says: "And even that isn't mine; it's my son's" (Luke 8:15). The Bible shows us two things here: firstly, God cares deeply about what happens to us; secondly , He can help us when we need it most. I hope this has inspired you to trust God and not be afraid. God is in control and He will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5).

Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.
