Show Me the Way

Let the morning bring me word of your unfailing love, for I have put my trust in you.

Show me the way I should go, for to you I entrust my life. -Psalm 143: 8

Easy words to say for sure. But to live them. That’s another thing all together. It can sometimes, okay more often than not it can be hard to relinquish our lives over to God. We, or at least I know I don’t really like the idea of thinking I am not in control.

But I am not. If I have truly given my life back to God, because it was his to begin with, then I have to let him lead me. I have to fully put my trust in him and his plan. to let him guide you through your day may seem like you are giving up but when you really do this you gain so much more. Because we as humans are walking around in the dark.

When we turn to God we know that he can Shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace. -Luke 1:79. And when we let him guide our feet we can trust that he will lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from the evil one. -Matthew 6:13. And then our lives will be that much greater.

Give it over to him and let him show you the way to Press on and Fight the good fight, as a Soldier for Christ.
