Tell

The Great Commission. As I have stated many times it is the reason we are here.

* The Great Commission * Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. -Matthew 28: 18-20

Sounds like a tall order doesn't it. And when you consider they didn't have cars or trains or airplanes. They didn't have cushy walking shoes. They only have what they could carry. maybe a pack animal. And they did what he asked.

* they went out and spread the news about him all over that region. -Matthew 9:31

So if they can do that why can't we? Like me, maybe jumping on an airplane is not something that feasable for you. But you have friends. You interact with people on a daily basis. You maybe even have kids...

* Tell it to your children, and let your children tell it to their children, and their children to the next generation. -Joel 1:3

Tell someone. And they will tell someone and so forth. You see people every day. I know a lady that when they go out to eat, she tell the server they are about to pray for the food and ask if there is anything she can pray for them about. It's amazing how many times the server will break down and tell her their story.

So get out there and spread the word and ...

* Pray also for me, that whenever I speak, words may be given me so that I will fearlessly make known the mystery of the gospel -Ephesians 6:19
