Mission Statement

A mission statement is a phrase that outlines the goal or intent of something. When I came across this verse I thought it could almost be the mission statement of Soldier for Christ.

2nd Corinthians 10:5 says We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ. To be able to demolish ever pretense and to defend my Savior.

That’s a bold mission, one that we should all take up. If someone were to start talking trash about your wife, your husband, son or daughter, would you not stand up for them? Come to their defense and aid? Of course you would. So why then should we not stand up for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and God the Father? of course we should. And we can know how to defend them by studying the word that was given to us in the Holy Bible.
