Jesus Prays for Us

I have to admit I am kind of excited today. Twenty may not seem like a big number but when I started this project I didn't know if I would be able to keep up with it but here we are 20 weeks later and I have been able to publish one small video every week for the past twenty weeks! There were a few close calls with some technical issues but it's all by the grace of God.

And, if it were not for God giving me the words and inspiration, it wouldn't have happened. All of the glory is his!

Today, I want to share a few verses from John about something Jesus does for us, as if he dosen't do enough already. But this is one that will really get ya. Did you know that Jesus prays for you? is that not awesome? The very Lord and Savior that we pray to , is praying for us!

We find Jesus praying in the Gospel of John. he says...

I pray also for those (that's you and me) who will believe in me through their message, that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one— I in them and you in me—so that they may be brought to complete unity. Then the world will know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

“Father, I want those you have given me to be with me where I am, and to see my glory, the glory you have given me because you loved me before the creation of the world. -John 17:20-24

He prays for us. That we can be one with each other and one with him. And he wants us to be there where he is. He longs for us to be close to him, just as any parent would their child.

It is a very reassuring to know that he wants us to be with him. To know that he is watching over us and praying for us. It makes it that much easier to

press on, fight the good fight, as a Soldier for Christ.
