Work

Not many people like Monday's. It's the start of the work week and that means getting up early and going to work. And if you dont like your job it can be that much more of a burden to get out of bed. In fact, that is part of the reason I decided to release these videos on Monday's. My hope was that they would provide some inspiration and words of hope that you could watch as often as needed to get through the week.

But, and I know this is not what someone running a show should say but, you dont need this show, I am glad you are watching and hope you continue to make Soldier for Christ part of your week, but what we all really need is a love for God and to study his word.

Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. -Colossians 3:23-24

So if we can turn our point of view around and see what we are doing as if we are doing it for our LORD and Savior it becomes less of a chore. It becomes a way to give glory back to Him. Others will see you and wonder why you are so cheerful with a job that they hate. They will see the gifts God has given shining through you and they will want that for themselves.

I have brought you glory on earth by finishing the work you gave me to do. -John 17:4

So maybe this week we try to look at our jobs with new eyes and with a new purpose and give all the glory to God. And when we do that we can press on. We can Fight the good fight, as a Soldier for Christ.
