Blessing

Blessings. We all want to be blessed. Sometimes it's hard to find the blessings. Depending on our current situation we may feel like we are not blessed at all. In those times it is important count your blessings, so when those low times come around you can find a peace.

we count as blessed those who have persevered. You have heard of Job’s perseverance and have seen what the Lord finally brought about. -James 5:11

I think the key word there is perseverance. Jesus taught us how to pray with the Lord's prayer, and reaching out to God in those low times can help with perseverance. In Numbers God taught us how to bless. God spoke to Moses and told him how to Bless the people o f Israel.

“The Lord bless you and keep you;

the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you;

the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” -Numbers 6:24-26

This is a blessing we can apply still to this day. Taken with the promises of God and the words of Jesus we know that God is good and true to his word and will bless us.

Blessed is the one whose sin the Lord will never count against them. -Romans 4:8
