Spirit

Ever been told to get into the spirit of things? Known people who have the Christmas spirit? Ever hear of the Holy spirit? God the Father, Jesus the Son and the Holy Spirit make up the Holy Trinity. As Christians we believe all are one and yet unique.

Now the Lord is the Spirit, and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is freedom. -2nd Corinthians 3:17

The Lord is the Spirit and the Spirit is the Lord. And God is in all thins so this means that he is always with us, in us and around us.

Where can I go from your Spirit? Where can I flee from your presence? -Psalm 139:7

The answer is nowhere. And that's a good and powerful thing to know. And knowing that the Spirit is everywhere, even within you. And knowing that The spirit is God and that God and Jesus are one to understand that he is in you should provide comfort.

Because you are his sons, God sent the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, the Spirit who calls out, "Abba, Father." -Galatians 4:6

calling out to the Father. Drawing you closer to him. So listen to that still small voice. You might just find that he is living on the inside, roaring like a lion. All you need do is trust in him to lead you and now that you know he will always be with you, it will be so much easier to follow the call where he would lead.
