Go

Go. It's a verb. It means to take a certain course or follow a certain procedure. And Jesus gave us a few courses, a few Go's we are to follow.

Go and Make. | Go and Learn | Go the extra mile | Go to the lost | Go and complete.

The catalyst of this show is of course the Great commission. Go and Make.

* Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. -Matthew 28: 19-20

and as part of that we must follow another Go, Go and Learn.

* But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.” -Matthew 9:13

as we go and learn and go and make we may often find that we do more than is required. Sometimes we must Go the Extra Mile.

* If anyone forces you to go one mile, go with them two miles. -Matthew 5:41

With all this going the question is sure to be asked, where do we go? We go to the lost.

* Go rather to the lost sheep -Matthew 10:6

Go where the people are. Go where you are needed. For me, the ability to physically go places is not feasible so by doing a web show I can Go all over the world. You can do the same. Start in your neighborhood. And when you go, go with the intent to go and complete.

* Go ahead, then, and complete what your ancestors started! -Matthew 23:32

This is not a new mission. It has been going on for thousands of years now. We are only continuing what was started before us. Don't forget, God's got your back. So Go.
